This month, AZ Wound's dedicated team of wound care nurses and nurse practitioners participated in the Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nurses Society™ (WOCN®) meeting. This gathering provided a platform to discuss current challenges and emerging topics in the field of Wound, Ostomy, and Continence (WOC) nursing.

Dr. Dhillon recently attended the EWMA 2025 international conference for the first time and returned inspired by innovations like cold plasma therapy—a significant breakthrough in wound healing. AZ Wound is excited to participate in upcoming clinical trials, aiming to help bring this advanced technology to the U.S. upon FDA approval.

Chronic wounds that fail to heal despite standard treatments present a major challenge for patients and healthcare providers. Led by Dr. Dhillon and published in Advances in Wound Care, this real-world clinical study evaluates the effectiveness of a Multimodal Wound Matrix (MWM) in treating chronic, nonhealing wounds.
